When does the show get good? I struggled through the first two or three episodes because you guys kept praising it but it was so tedious. I mean they immediately have all of the characters at war with each other and even killing each other right as they're introduced, they're openly spamming ultimatums and discovering each other's machinations and threatening each other, but you know this setup will be at least a season long or maybe a series long so it just feels rushed, forced, and whocarespilled.
Also is the ASAC Shrader on roids guy going to be the main character throughout? Because he has the most tedious character of all, and I have a terrible feeling he doesn't actually get killed off at the end of S1, and is the anti-hero protagonist.

Yes, first season is a slow burn. Things start to get messy in the late episodes and the tension never stops building up until the finale.
