Brooks is ... 98, I think? Still might have a few good years left if you consider the record for oldest person alive being well in the 110s.
Keep in mind as well that generally speaking, if you have a lot of Hollywood dosh and access to good food, good healthcare, clean air, etc. and crucially: *don't* fuck up your body with all kinds of substance abuse like bored-as-fuck celebs tend to do, your life expectancy can leap entire decades.

I assume Mel Brooks won't be directing it, but he probably can help with writing.
But here is a case of a filmmaker making movies into his 100s - Manuel De Olivera
For example he made his last feature (pic and trailer related) at age 104. He also made a couple of shorts later on (he died in 2015) and still had plans for feature films. I wonder if Clint Eastwood can make it to 100 and still make movies.

No, but he'll be PRODUCING it. Which means he gets a final say over whether what the directors managed to put together, qualifies.
And he'll get a say over the purse and which people are brought on to fill which roles.

Oh right. The movie specifically named him Colonel Sanders, so they could make the "What's the matter, Colonel Sanders? Chicken?" joke during the ludicrous speed bit.
Gotta love that kind of thing. Spaceballs was good because it recognized the plot was just dress-up for the gag-salvo of jokes to be stitched together coherently. So here we have a character whose name became preordained, simply for that one joke.
