Kind of turns to shit in the last act and I could’ve done entirely without Rihanna. That being said it’s a fun movie for the most part.

Avatar has an epic arc and is incredible movie making.

Valerian doesn't approach that level of greatness, but it does have stunning world building. A shame it failed as a franchise.

It's endlessly more creative and fascinating than Star Trek for example.
