Honestly most movies. They're just an poor form of media IMO; worse than books in your ability to fill in the gaps and worse than vidya for visual media since it lacks any interactivity.
2001 was the worst though. The middle act is okay but the end was genuinely painful.

None because I don't force myself to sit through movies that suck. Although I would agree with everyone saying 2001 because that was also the first thing that came to mind, but I dropped it half an hour in because literally nothing at all had happened. It's not even like the movie was just kinda starting off slowly with seemingly boring dialogue, like literally fucking nothing at all is happening, it's all just people walking down hallways and cameras panning across walls and shit, I felt like I was watching a screensaver.

I don't even hate Nolan that much but his writing isn't great and Oppenheimer doesn't have a fantastical/interesting premise to carry it like the rest of his flicks do

2001 for sure, the opening in particular is deranged, literally nothing happening for like 5 minutes. Like making you watch paint dry, except presumably if you're watching paint dry you're invested in it drying so you can keep painting, so even watching paint drying is less boring.

Okay so why did he make it a thousand boring conversations about nothing where the reader, sorry I mean watcher, is meant to "fill in the blanks no right answers" like modern "art"?
Isn't that just a slower, shorter, shittier mopecore novel? Do you just not know how to read?
Movies are a visual medium, if your visuals are boring and samey it's not worth a thousand or even one word per frame. It's just dreck. If your visuals are nonsensical and just self-referential Pavlov callbacks (Lynch), aren't you essentially making a children's show just without the grace in familiarity of Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood?

I watch almost everything on second monitor anyways, unless and until it commands my full attention. If I hate the intro enough I pick something else immediately. If I get halfway in and feel a sense of disgust I either do one skip to three quarters to check a slice of the back half for anything good, or just skip altogether and avoid sunk cost fallacy.
I'm actually currently putting off Saloum because it might be an actual good rec and based on the intro scenes I should watch it first monitor.

i love historical, war, historical fiction, etc movies. i like just about every movie similar to it, but i just could not ever get into kingdom of heaven. ive always thought medieval europe and the crusades were some of the most boring aspects of history though

Im gonna make people mad but fucking Terminator 2.

Everyone, me included, remembers all the cool scenes like the end truck chase and Arnold shotgunning the neil patrick harris lookalike robot. But when you actual sit down and watch this movie, before you ever get to that cool action, its over 2 hours of fucking N-O-T-H-I-N-G. Holy fuck its boring

The Godfather and Raging Bull. Literally the two most boring movies I've ever watched.

>he cant stare at a wall for 6 hours and be entertained the wholetime, must be ADHD
There has to be disorder that is the inverse of ADHD, where people are braindead enough to be drooling happy with anything.
