They were content black holes that sucked up any content that could have been created because they were so bombastic and unhinged. The issue with the nigger, specifically, is that his whole deal got tired after the "it's a gay show for gay boys?" Line. That was the peak of everything he could have done, but they still kept him on for the rest of the show despite it devolving into him repeating his skitzorants and heckin wholesome jerkerino moments ad nauseum. Alex had much more variety to his retardation, but even he got tired early as it always devolved into him yapping in the end. I think the best course for s3 would have been for the nigger to get eliminated mid season and for alex to stay until being a finalist. On top of that, actually follow through with FH2
