You're being purposely obtuse or are very young. Its obvious you've grown up on the video game side of the series. Of course she's a fucking Force user. We've known that for decades.
Stories have a benchmark of in universe feats and limitations. From what you see and are told, you are able to infer what those limits are. Your brain accepts them. This is your suspension of disbelief.
Once an event happens in a story that breaks the canon understanding or limit of bullshit you will accept, that's broken. This is also referred to as "jumping the shark". The audience pulls back amd the illusion is broken. They start to pick apart other things that don't make much sense. What you've made starts to unravel and you can't put a bandaid on it.
There are dozens of ways to get her off that ship in various ways that wouldn't have broken it. If Luke flew through space like Superman or Goku like that, everyone would have had the same reaction. In fact, they did. The illusion he made several planets to fake a fight did break the suspension. No one was buying that shit either.
That's how I know you're young and a recent fan. You don't have those barriers other people have. If that bullshit flies with you, I don't know what to tell you. You stick out like a sore thumb.
