Look, there is something about this season that is off. I am huge into sincerity and hate fakeness so it might be just me.

1. Putting it in the old house just feels wrong?
Each house has personality. Watching the contestants explore the rooms for the first time was a lot of fun. Placing it in S1 house dredges up too much comparative nostalgia.

2. Sam/production being adversarial is just more fun. More energy. Seeing same hunched over in a room listening to some BPD fatty is just a mood killer.

3. Casting people who have watched the show and wanted to be on the Tank is wrong because it causes a narcissistic injury for those watching. Like your missing out. ESPECIALLY when they talk about previous seasons/events.

Finally and not related to the tone(but to the house), the audio is terrible, have to turn it up so loud to understand what they are saying.

The constants themselves are good personalities, production was 100% correct about that.
