Sure if you don't want to pirate it. It's kino imo.
It is literally a Cinderella adaptation though, it's not not just Cinderella "themed." It's the story of Cinderella but from one of her sister's perspective and with body horror.
I've seen some complaints that it was "predictable" from people who clearly didn't realize that this is an actual Cinderella movie.

That's kinda why I like the first one more. The gloominess is so omnipresent that when it gets to the more silly implausible parts like the monster reveal, it's actually somehow more shocking and creepy 'cause it's unexpected. It's by no means perfect or even a quality film, I'll be the first to admit. But it does try, and there's little things like hidden smiles throughout the film. For example Victoria MuΓ±oz's necklace resembles the monster. This was clearly a deliberate choice on the part of Parker Finn.

Final Destination is definitively superior to Smile though... especially if you take The Final Destination out of the equation. Smile 1 really only compares to Final Destination 3 and 5..... Smile 2 is comparable to the other 3 definitely, but that's one movie vs three. The Smile movies do have Kyle Gallner and that trumps a lot of anything Final Destination has to offer. There is also the creature design aspect as you mentioned. But the Final Destination movies have some of the most creative kills in horror. Just look at the MRI one from Bloodlines, it's wild that that was executed on a studio level budget.

Yeah, I love PS2 tier CG kills and someone getting their head impaled / crushed by a launched object for the 100th time, so creative all they do is repeat the exact same death scene over and over 90% of the time.

The music was nice, with a good mix of classical and euro-techno. 95% of what I watch is old films with mono audio, but I have a decent surround sound speaker kit that really shows its worth with these newer movies, so I can appreciate that aspect.

When I had some money, I bought a lot of decent scotch and bourbon like Laphroaig, Ardbeg, Four Roses single barrel, Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, or red wine in the $15-20 range. Fresh local IPAs, triples or imperials, the kind of shit that's $5 a can. During October, it'd be lots of pumpkin beers, red wine, and absinthe. Occasionally standard cocktails like manhattans or martinis, but usually just straight booze.
Now I'm down to Yuengling beer, Wild Turkey 101, and boxed wines (drinking Bota Box Dark Malbec right now, which coincidentally has a very Halloweeny design), and occasionally Beefeater gin and Johnnie Walker black label. I'm a shadow of what I was

I'm guessing you're not American. Here, they're pretty common during the season. I won't say that they're the best tasting beer you'll ever have, but being such a distinct flavor, nothing else puts me so quickly into the spirit of the season. The labels alone really perk me up and get me in the mood.

I wish I could find this beer again (pic), but it's been unavailable for the last few years for me in my area. I have great memories sipping back on this throughout early /hor/ and watching my way through lots of kino, especially the Evil Dead TV series. Carving pumpkins, eating lots of chocolate, being a bit creative and decorative. Very little makes me happy these days, but a good, partly drunken Halloween season is such a relief from everything else.

It's perhaps the only non-anthology show I thought I might watch some time. Maybe the Chucky show is decent as well but once I see they stretch out for seasons it feels like the showrunners are just trying to bleed the stone.
That's why I like films. Forces them to make a satisfying arc and ending. Even if they just bring them back next film.
