It's one of the Chris Pine sequels. Fine as an action movie but obviously vastly different from the tone of TOS. Actually a lot closer to Mass Effect in tone, so a good choice I guess.

It's literally a Hellraiser-tier sequel where they would take unrelated, blacklisted scripts and shove Doug Bradley into them.
I still think its a grand space opera thing that's borderline impossible to do without a monster budget. Does Amazon want to spend a monstrous amount of money on Mass Effect or not? That's the central question
