I do think it overplayed it’s hand a bit compared to Get Out which clearly shows there is more to the whole thing but doesn’t feel the need to really explain what’s up with the cult/secret shadow organization thing really which I think helps because Chris just cares about escaping not unveiling the mystery which makes him a more sympathetic and likable character
