It's called "Ducktales: The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck" and uses the character designs from the most recent, and surprisingly kino, Ducktales series.

It also replaces the racist zombie episode with one about Scrooge meeting Launchpad and Fenton for the first times, forever integrating Ducktales with the Uncle Scrooge comics. Disney can do this as they own it all.

The look on Don Rosa's face would be priceless.

Yes, it could absolutely work, as long as you make it with no CGI and stay as close to the original source as possible. 40 minutes per episode would be needed however, 20 minutes is just too short.

The main issue is that Disney as it is now would have no interest in actually doing it like this. I don't even mean the zombie stuff, it would be gay to censor it but it would be a pretty small part overall of the entire thing.

Only when Don Rosa dies, he hates Disney with a passion and would never allow it. Well, legally Disney could do it but they aren't going to want the horrible PR of trampling on the creator that way.

I find it really funny how comics aimed at kids about cartoon ducks are now considered too edgy for modern Disney to adapt and in some cases even reprint.

Scrooge had some shrunken heads and human hands and stolen artifacts at castle mcduck they brushed out. It was also implied that he fathered some ducklings with locals of questionable age and ability to consent during his adventures which have been removed/clarified to eliminate the implication
