I thought it was cute in this episode. Especially since it was like a secret just for the audience that the characters didn’t see. I liked that. It strikes a chord with me because everybody wants to see their baby’s first word but babies don’t and can’t really have a moment like that where they just say a word clearly and correctly the first time and you can pinpoint it as their “first word”. It’s a slow and sloppy process. So it was nice to get that kind of bittersweet closure in a fictional show imo.
