Fishtank Live Season 4 Concerns from a Fan Who Cares

I’m writing this not to hate on it, but because I genuinely love this show and care about it's future, because there is nothing that is similar. And I don’t want to see it slowly eat itself from the inside.

PRODUCTION / BEN & JET

The constant interference from Ben and Jet is dragging the vibe down. The only funny thing they’ve done so far was the smoking under the bed bit.
Mints had maybe one or two funny moments, but overall also feels unnecessary.

Ben at least had a reason to be there in Season 3 (his “character” and all), but not this season. The constant camera crew inside the rooms ruins the whole point of Fishtank and it kills immersion. Also, the scenes are „for the most part” absolutely trash to watch live, (and probably in the edit too). When doing the ones where they try to make a normal scene, everyone knows they are scripted, in S3 it was funny in the beginning to fuck with them into thinking that they are faking a Reality TV show but after the bit was up why continue AND why do it in S4 where it has nothing to add of value for any viewer. The only scene that can make sense where for example the Army thing they did today (Day 4) this is fine but the rest, man.

Sam feels completely pointless this season.
He’s not playing a character, barely interacts on stream or socials, and could literally not be there and nothing would change. Same as late Season 2 is working out alone, contributing nothing entertaining for the majority of the time. Why even bother being there.
THE HOUSE

This house is the weakest one yet.
Season 2’s house had a real personality and a theme. Season 3 had at LEAST a theme to it, but this feels empty, and going back to the s1 house and adding nothing is lazy.
