I’ve been watching the show and the plot issues drive me nuts. Like how you supposedly get all the knowledge and power from the quickening but that doesn’t seem to happen at all. No one ever mentions knowledge that’s not their own, and if it was true new immortals like richie would get insta killed by 500 year old ones with the power of dozens or more other immortals. Just the sword experience alone would be super hard to overcome. I do find it funny how in a few hundred years duncan has managed to meet seemingly half the human population on earth and 98 percent of the immortal population. Oh and another thing, immortals are only formidable really because humans don’t know their weakness. One immortal who had the foresight to get rich and powerful(easy on that timescale) and then hire/force humans to hunt down immortals, kill them and tie them up and bring them to him to cut their head off would win the whole thing. Also just ones who shoot guys in the face then cut their heads off. It’s shown that nothing happens to you if you break the “rules”. I could go on forever. Still enjoy the show tho

Recently saw this and I completely agree. Granted, I watched the Renegade Cut and not the original theatrical version that was apparently so terribly edited. Overall it was a pretty solid sequel that really took things in a different direction and managed to match the story beats of the original without being repetitive about it. The only really stupid part was Ramirez' second (third) death, and that was more due to the circumstances of that stupid death trap than anything else.
