Tbh i dont care for the idea of evolved infected. The virus was scary in the first one because it had a cold, nihilistic dreadful vibe. It took your humanity away in an instant and transformed you into a mindless bloodthirsty machine. In the second one the dad exhibited some human traits like memory and restraint. If they start to become more human that kinda makes it seem not quite as scary.

At best I'm expecting it to sort of feel like one of those Crossed comics but without the rapeage. It'll be well shot for sure, and hopefully Danny Boyle will be able to wrangle in some of Alex Garland's dumber ideas like we saw in MEN and Civil War.
