And from her point of view, doing all three Dune movies plus her own Apple TV show is a better career move than being in MI for 30 minutes. The reason she left is because those movies take so long to make, they don't have a regular shooting schedule: Tom and McQ make up the movie along the way and the cast/crew follow them around the world for years at a time.
