Gunn's suit design is just such a massive blunder. It's the one thing you absolutely need to get right, the very first thing everyone is gonna see and that will have the biggest influence on whether people want to watch the movie or not. And he had to do something unconventional just to be a goddamn contrarian.
The movie will probably be better than MoS because MoS was garbage but its performance has been likely crippled from day one.
