A reasonable time to have ended The Simpsons was when 20th Century Fox was sold to Disney in 2019. There'd still be 22 mediocre seasons and only 8 quality ones but it beats having to hear an extra ten seasons of an elderly Julie Kavner who cant even speak properly anymore. Same with Harry Shearer
