He was so good that even the chuds forgot that he is an actor rather than actual Sauron. During season 1, chuddies literally mocked the show runners for "accidentally" including a scene where Halbrand sees a smithy in Numenor and smiles to himself. They were like "lol they tried to subvert our expectations with the Sauron/Halbrand twist but then accidentally gave it away!" This actually happened, and it did not only demonstrate how good this actor is, but also the shocking extent to which chuddies are divorced from reality.

Galadriel was never a sword wielding warrior, tranny. Her power lies in her magic, spells and mental fortitude. I think most viewers agree with you. Despite the mostly terrible stuff happening in this series, his acting and scenes are consistently great.

This is somewhat what I did when I marathoned the show a few weeks ago. I generally skipped anything that didn't include Sauron, Galadriel, the elf lords, or Adar. I glimpsed a bit into the Bombadill scenes and some of the Durin vs. Durin ones. I also obviously had to endure the ridiculous DEI trash.
