in short, i think the reason that the graphics were so much better in world peace vs extreme peace was that in world peace sam took inspiration from a bunch of different things. video games, the vaporwave movement (while it was still culturally relevant), late night infomercials, PSAs, that kind of stuff. a ton of things thrown together to create a jarring but still cohesive and unique visual language. the extreme peace graphics, on the other hand, seemed like they were just inspired by the world peace graphics
