I only watched a couple of minutes. From what little I saw, I would say they needed a better director and editor. Comedy is all about timing, and if something is edited like a random collage of close-ups, then there's tension, buildup or room to deliver a laugh. Maybe Andrew Ruse was needed. Watched the full episode 1. Disappointed there was no Charls skit. Starting to realize Sam was never a key component that made anything great. He always had the most political streak of the guys which probably helped with some of the more "deep" sketches that landed in WP1 but he sucks at putting together a real production that's actually entertaining. His humor peaked at fucking with random strangers at Bernie rallies and acting like a retard solo in his mom's apartment.

I love these guys and happy they got the band back together and did what they wanted to do.
But yeah, not the strongest first episode. Loved the aesthetic transitions and title cards, had a few laughs, but the sketches felt sloppy. Maybe that one falling apart threw it off, but I hope the following episodes allow them to act more.
