Graphic and sound design was unbelievable and not enough people are talking about it. Everyone knows that Sam’s special interest and it shows here. It’s better than stuff you would see in a project with 100x the budget because, commercially, it’s a waste of money.

Comedy was ok. As people are saying it would have benefited from being cut down. There’s a lot of stuff that doesn’t need to be in there, which is not only mediocre on its own, but drags the good parts down because it fucks with the pace.

God awful shitshow. MDE s1 was obviously special thanks to Charles and Ruse. Their intermission intros are trying too hard and feel oddly dated like they were made by a bunch of boomers trying to be hip, where as the WP ones were creative, edgy and felt cool and unique.

Their script writing is nonexistent. The show went from thought provoking acid trips to cringe inducing "let's prank the normie actors/weirdos who are not on the joke".

The music is nowhere near as good as the WP soundtrack.

Sets feel more expensive and grander in scale, yet somehow more fake and less intriguing when compared to WP (this is probably due to cinematography which is dogshit in extreme peace)

The only thing that improved is acting budget, except for Sam who literally plays himself and does his smug snarky grins while looking directly at the camera. This is mostly due to the improvised style of the whole show which to me is a huge misfire.

All in all: 3/10. MDE XP feels like a cheap rehash of the original show, made by people who either don't understand or actively hate the original artist.

Original WP was a masterpiece, blending intelligent and creative right-wing commentary of the modern Western culture with edgy comedy. Sam is done for.

The thing that actually bothers me is how long it is. WP was 11 minutes long, which even if it's a bit excessive to do in S2 given they don't have network time restrictions anymore, meant that they had to really cut things down to only the absolute best bits.
In what universe is this episode equal to the first 3 of WP? It's the same fucking length. Having a 30 minute episode where 25 minutes of it are not that funny just feels like shit. The graphics and music are also frankly not on the level of even Happy World Daddy.
I'll stick around to see episode 2 and see if this first episode was really just a catastrophically bad choice for the season opener but I don't have my hopes up. 30 minutes of content is not a bang for my buck if they suck ass

THIS. The transitions and audio in World Peace were integral to its quality and they’ve nosedived. I went to the first live premiere and the first episode online is way waaaay different than the cut they showed at the show. It's almost worst in every single way and a lot of the funny moments were cut down. The daddy dom sketch was also apart of episode 2 and was that episodes overarching sketch. I guess they changed some things before the end after seeing some audience's reactions? Everyone laughed throughout all two episodes at the premiere.
