I said it before and I'll say it again: Oppenheimer should've one part of another movie about the history of nuclear weapons. It was right there on a silver platter for Nolan considering his infatuation with time gimmicks in filmmaking; have one plot thread about WW2, one about the Cold War, one about the discovery of radium, another about 21st century geopolitics involving nuclear proliferation, etc. all running concurrently.
