A pretty underwhelming film

it was one of the last movies where we ever pretended a guy could just beat the government fair and square. very outdated naïve West wing American exceptionality

I heard the book was better.

Fantastic performances from an ensemble cast but the story doesn't hold up compared to the book. One of my top 5 Hackman roles.

I haven’t read the book but the movie was top tier kino. Maybe a bit too long but it’s worth watching.
