>teenagers >female lead spends most of the time being hot >college >old Internet as a prominent part of the story >plot that starts with a prank >obligatory cool teacher >that one scene where the lights turn on only in the main character's vicinity >twist at the end intercut with frames that explain what actually happened
Probably the most 2000's movie I know

Coherence is a B movie? I thought it was fantastic, tight, superbly written, and inventive
I'd hardly lump it with B movie shit like sharknado

I remember seeing Right To Die back in the day, some really unsettling stuff, probably the creepiest depiction of a still-living burn victim.

That "I had life inside me" line is so memorable to me because it made me notice that "parent loses child" is one of the most common tropes in film

I love how Verbinski has worked in all kinds of genres and you can still tell it's him every time, too bad they never let him make the Bioshock movie.

when I was in high school it was the final peak of b-movies being advertised as having tons of sex and gratuitous nudity only to bait & switch you with barely any
this movie was the only time I could remember when a movie was advertised that way and actually fully delivered

I tried to watch this a few days ago and its just shit, I turned it off.
I liked the vast of night though, which is similar, few cast, mainly dialogue.

people sitting around a dinner table talking abit and looking out the window is not a good movie. might as well just listen to a fucking audiobook.
Triangle is just dogshit anyway. Its mediocre as fuck and you can see the plot less than half way through.

When a movie is catered around a "tweeeest" when you see the twist a mile away, it means its a shit movie.
Se7en twist is great. Sixth sense twist is done well. Triangle twist is shit and the movie is trash.
Even B movies can have good twists that you dont see coming. That flick does not have a good twist.

These 2 were some of my favorites and I still remember them years later. I think it's funny how these 2 were specifically called out for being dogshit. I think it's a sign of people being filtered, which is a good sign.

I've been looking for this Jap love triangle film of the same name and release year for years and every time I look it up on torrent sites this makes up almost of all the search results
>>211734754 >they never let him make the Bioshock movie
To be fair they would have let him if he didn't refuse to make it unless they built an actual underwater city.
