Just watching? No, I wouldn’t really call that a hobby. But “film” overall can be a hobby if you’re engaging with the medium in some form. Either through researching films, directors, actors, or being part of a community that curates or does something with film. Just watching a movie and then watching the next one isn’t really a hobby. Playing video games are more of a hobby than just watching films.
