I think day 1/week 1 production could've managed to walk the tightrope of fucking with the new "aids" cast, while not pissing them off too quickly. But IIRC they admitted themselves to already being kinda burnt out by that point. The whole team had gotten sick at once, which contributed to the "slow" famous house 2 preparation days. They had to somehow provide SOME content, while cleaning everything up, organizing the arrival of the new cast, preparing themselves etc., all while being fucked up. They probably relied on that boatload of new people to automatically create some content by themselves and open up opportunities and overall not being a bunch of nontent fags. Plus there was some stuff prepared (Fatty, Alex Stein etc.). I can imagine the "sick days" (probably with little/no real recovery time) being a big reason for why they didn't have a good enough read on the people/situation and ultimately not enough control over the famous house relaunch. It would probably have required the same degree of careful balancing and attention as week 1 to pull off what they had planned, with the people that arrived. But at that point production was probably struggling to just keep shit running on schedule and too gassed out to come up with super creative solutions.
