I don't get why original Ghostbusters movie was a success, it was a different time but it's a bad movie with a retarded plot.

It's a mockumentary style film following a group of "ghostbusters".
They're washed up boomers. It's dark and gritty.
They're mostly just con artists scamming retards.
They get called out for a "haunting" and find a family that's been massacred by an islamist death cult - and they're still around causing trouble.
The last thirty minutes of the film (a merciful 80 minutes long) is them trying to survive attack by the islamist death cult that discovered them, getting chased into the woods, etc.
There are no ghosts.

So there's a new ghost attack where a bloody female ghost (played by Eva Green) is murdering residents at a hotel.
Simultaneously, McKenna is having a falling out with her family when she hears about the case. So she sneaks off to solve it by herself. But her new college friend, played by Ella Balinska, tags along.
McKenna and Ella have a will-they won't-they thing going on but are both too nervous to make the first move.
When they get to the hotel, it turns out that Eva is actually just a really sexually frustrated lesbian ghost. So some dubious stuff happens and we get the first ever lesbian ghost threesome. All very artfully shot of course

Major bad ghost possesses the professor feeding off his anger and jelousy, starts hurting family friends and citizens.
4th ghost buster introduced and he brings a ghost he caught himself to prove his skill.
