That was so fucking dumb. Pregnant infected that birth uninfected infants. Especially after we saw one of the "Slow n' low couples had an infected child that ran off because Spikes old man for some reason decided not to shoot it.

No, it's just the ending which introduces the Savile cult/gang. There is some foreshadowing earlier in the film, but it's not about them.
