In S1 and S2 the dead time was exploited by the fish to 1 on 1 with the TTS or just monologue to the cameras in the bedrooms. The S3 ignored this entirely in favor of hanging out in the Den or Island with the group and the S4 fish like Daniel will literally just stare at the floor silently.
