A lot of the issues with these movies is that the writers have never actually done any work in a related field so they dream up security flaws that are completely ridiculous. Biohazard containment is like one of the most secure things on the planet - combined with a military element there's simply no fucking way anybody is going inside without at least two people not just knowing but watching. Knowing exactly what rage does to people there would be two or three physical barriers that would seal the room.

I dont get how the wife didnt die. Yes I know she was immune to the virus but the movies show that the infected literally tear people apart so even if she was immune to the virus she would still have had her body ripped apart by them.

I've worked for Big Pharma when I was younger in Microbiology and I find it laughable that anyone could break into a Pharmaceutical company without literally using explosives or something. As I had to use 3 different key cards just to get to my desk and go past 2 security checkpoints. One at reception and 1 right before going into the micro lab. Like it just seems silly to me how they managed to actually break into the lab as you could really only do it if you somehow managed to steal several keys from a very specific person as all the keys I had still only let me access a very small part of the building and also killed the security guys.
