Disco never really nosedives to me, it's just kind of bland and meh all the way through. But you're right Michael isn't exactly woke, but to me you just get sick of her after a while. Background characters get very little to do. It's 5 years of Michael Burnham. It's just tiresome more than infuriatingly woke or something.
