I saw a 5’9 roided up guy at my gym shadow boxing in the mirror. His technique was so slow, stiff, clumsy and bad I felt second hand embarrassment watching him and I almost couldn’t believe he was being serious. But he was. I'm a pretty big, mean-looking dude. 6'3, 280lbs, bald and bearded, full sleeve tats. Won a few state-level powerlifting comps back in the day and practice MMA twice a week at my local gym. Suffice it to say I can take care of myself. But man, if I saw Jon Bernthal on the street, looking even a little annoyed? I'd cross to other side even if it meant going through 8 lanes of peak-hour traffic. There's just something about him, this rawness and intensity, you just know the man has seen some real shit and is absolutely lethal when he needs to be.
