Pressure Differential Counts.

Note that this trick works perfectly well for hard vacuum environments.

The USA *should* be a land of plenty. We have the resources, wealth, expertise, to make it a land of plenty. But the corporate class sucks up enough of that wealth that the common man does not benefit as much as we could/should.
If the wealth actually went to the hard working man, we'd have enough that the influx of indians would not dilute the wealth enough to matter, especially considering that some sizeable portion of indians are contributing an excess of productivity to maintain our productive economy.

That's not to say we should have unfettered unregulated immigration, and anyone who claims that that's a serious policy is just strawmanning the center-left. (Far leftists don't matter since they dont have hardly any actual political power on actual policy, despite what the daily wire would have you believe).
A healthy-but-limited immigration stream would be good for the economy (legal immigrants with skills to fill in the holes in our labor market like picking strawberries and working in meat processing plants) and if our system actually benefited the hardworking man, the increase in property costs etc would be a drop in the bucket.
