Could have been a good movie in the hands of someone like QT or Fincher but Edgar Wright is too limp dicked and the casting was bad outside of Anya.

Fell apart in the second half as it didn't seem to have any clear ideas of where to go with the premise, and ultimately all the neat little filming tricks mixing the two actresses amounted to nothing. There were scenes where characters seemed to briefly notice the protagonist's presence in the past scenes, indicating the two time periods might be crossing over, but then nothing occurred. It was just "memories of person", and that was it.
The attempt at a love interest was also so poorly and thinly written that I thought he was going to be revealed as a villain later. But no, he was just some bizarre one-note simp following her around, which apparently was meant to be a positive trait.
Tremendous tits and ass on the protagonist.

Watched it many years ago now, I recall that it was awful compared to the writers' previous films (Sean of the Dead etc.), there was an incredibly forced politically correct framing of how men look at women (it was like social commentary taken from 2013 so it was very out of date) and the serious parts were mixed with things which were supposed to be funny like an old lady attacking the protagonist with a knife. The combination of forced political commentary with failed ridiculous old woman trying to stab someone was terrible. There were other things which I didn't like too but I've forgotten them. Overall this movie was SHIT!

Thomasin and Anya were both incredibly hot in it, it looked pretty nice and...that's it really, the plot was retarded and wasted its premise.

it killed thomasin's appeal on here, she used to be posted semi-regularly but she kissed one nog and it was game over on /tv/

This is completely untrue. Thomasin continued being regularly posted until about 2023, and still does get the occasional T&A thread, but the reality is she has been in absolutely nothing anyone in the world has seen for the past couple of years. She seems to only do these obscure indie movies and miniseries lately and has become almost invisible, after having been a rising star like Anya at the time. It's telling that all the recent pics or webms of her are from social media and not movie or TV roles.

Weak, especially coming from Edgar Wright
There's a mild amount of intrigue but it goes nowhere and the ultimate resolution of ATJ being the killer all along isn't that gratifying. It's a great excuse for a bunch of money shots of 60s sets and costumes, but it's a weak thriller and there isn't much too it since there are like 3 characters. Thomasin Mackenzie is cute and I like her fat tatas, but even she doesn't really get to do much with the whole "Having her mind taken over by the ghost of some broad from the 60s" angle, and the mulatto she ends up with is also boring

I think it sucks. The big twist is obvious and takes way too long to be revealed and then it tries to have more twists on top of that. Totally unlikable characters. Would have been better if it were just a cute girl in London movie.

yeah what the fuck was this about? I thought the latter half of the film was going to be her sojourns to the past breaking down the boundaries and starting to affect the past and the present, but then nothing happens at all and all the past scenes amount to just "flashbacks" for Anya's character

Your logic makes no sense because Anya Taylor-Joy did the same long before this film and yet continued just fine for years until she became an actual star and did her vegan skeltal era which killed her appeal. What actress doesn't get inevitably paired with a black in some role these days? Thomasin's posting has declined on /tv/ because she's not been in a movie anyone has seen in forever. The last thing I saw her in was Power of the Dog and that was a small role. For a while she seemed to be a fast rising star.

My wife hated it because of the shockingly ugly nigger love interest Britbongs force into every movie for some reason, found it jarring and cringe. She really likes Anya and the Dr. Who Morbius guy and their initial romance before he became a heckin misogynist was the only enjoyable part for her, I generally thought it was just boring and gay
