Roger is actually not gay. If you notice he only LARPs as gay when he's doing certain characters. When the "real Roger" does anything sexual it's with a female, the real Roger had a girlfriend and even a wife. Only his characters are pretend gay and he never actually bangs a dude while in character only hints at it.
