(keep the Irreversible memes to a minimum)

I thought Climax was fantastic.

He's gonna become a great director once he finally grows out of his edgy teen phase

I remember hearing that Enter the Void was a movie he wanted to make "since adolescence" and it really frames it well because it's the kind of slop a teenager on drugs for the first time would come up with.

He said he is making a children's movie next. No idea how will that look.

He has a really strong sense of style, I like the way he shoots his films and puts them together, but he's obsessed with ugliness and filth for the sake of ugliness and filth and I just don't find it interesting. I don't think he has it in him to make a film that's actually worth anything. Just look at him

In interviews, he comes across as a decent sensitive guy. No doubt he's a druggie, but I think he explores his dark side in art form mostly.

What about Vortex?

He's great. His only real miss is Love and his other weaker films (like Climax) are still good watches. I think he peaked with Enter the Void but Vortex is his second best and gives me a lot of hope for his future films.

Watch Vortex then, it's exactly what you want.

Holy shit its real
>Noé is now doubling down in his intentions to make a children’s film. Speaking with Variety, he’s telling us to expect the unexpected when it comes to his next project, saying that he’d “like to do a movie with young children, or a movie for children.”
>
>“I’ve already done a movie about old age with ‘Vortex’ so the next one is going to be different. I’d like to make a film where the main characters are very young kids, aged between three to five years old, with very little dialogue. I like movies with kids. I don’t have kids myself, but I relate to them.”
>
>He does go on to state that another option could be involve a harrowing mix of documentary, war and horror, which makes way more sense given his past films. Alas, it doesn’t sound like Noé has really made up his mind yet, but a film about young tykes seems to be something that’s been on his mind.
