Whats the point of stretching it out into a 10 or however many episodes? We know Carrie kills everyone, and if she doesn't its not gonna be the same story.
Can they please just make this a movie? Carrie is such a short book that even the two-hour Angela Bettis version felt like it dragged on too long. This is a decent looking cast and I liked Doctor Sleep, so I'd hate to see this project ruined by the inevitable streaming series slop padding. No reason for this story to take more than 100 minutes unless they're totally overhauling it into something new using the old characters (which actually might be preferable since there's no point in trying to top the first movie).
