I find it a bit weird that a lot of the channels (not necessarily the reactors themselves) are Canadian, popped up around the same time and react to the same movies.

Movies I can understand powering through, but I have never ever seen one of these people say "I haven't been enjoying this series for a while now, I gave it a shot but we're going to drop it after this episode"
It doesn't happen. Because their supporters paid and voted in a poll or whatever for that show. How can you trust anything a reactor says with this context? In real life you drop shows all the time if you're not into it. Yet these people never do when they absolutely could. That could be a rule about their channel that they reserve the right do that.
