Is it possible that the reason this season feels so barebones is because Jet really is doing the spaceship Fishtank he talked about during season three and it's just taking longer to work out than he initially expected so this season was done to make sure the fans at least have some sort of content while all that is being built?

I know everyone doomposts every season and while I do like the cast it just feels like this is being treated as a throwaway season while they work on something bigger. Could this season transfer into something like the spaceship stuff? Could next season be the big budget season?
