Ruining the local economy and killing it's people. It's a metaphor for illegal immigration.

The actress was 45 and the kid was 12 or 13. Having a kid in your 30s is perfectly plausible.

Some of the people act like a shark is a foreign concept. Like when the guy is reading the book on shark and the other guy keeps calling the shark by the scientific name Carcharodon carcharias.

This movie introduced the general public to sharks. The viewer gets to discover them with the characters

You will never have the autism that makes you a savant. You will always have the kind that makes you a socially awkward, annoying little shit desperately thinking you're something different and unique.

Talking to yourself on an imageboard isn't a sign of good mental health, I'd suggest looking into that.

The concept of a killer shark wasnt invented by Jaws. There was literally a killer shark arcade game that existed years before the movie. It even appears briefly in Jaws.

He was killing people nearly indiscriminately and had clearly become a maneater shark that was not going to stop until he was stopped. By standards of his species he was unusually aggressive and large.

He was territorial. If people stayed out of the water he would have left as the water cooled off

Chigurh's motives were not complex, he just thought they were. He was nothing but a murderer killing because he wanted to, everything else was pretentious self-justification.

Even accounting for territory he was inordinately violent and fixated on attacking humans specifically, just look at how single-mindedly he pursues the Orca after they wound him with the harpoons, that's a predator with a grudge. As the phrase goes, this town ain't big enough for the two of us. One of them's gotta go, the shark or the people.
