I agree. I've been an MDE fan for years now. I loved World Peace, I like Fish Tank, and I think Sam in just a sort a paragon of millenial/zoomer internet culture.

But his recent podcast stuff and taking himself so seriously is kind of annoying. I get that most of his audience is xanax loser potheads and from like 2018-2022 a lot of his stuff was self help focused content aimed at these kids. I liked this too because I thought it was all good advice and stuff people like that needed to hear, especially from someone they had such a parasocial relationship with.

But his takes on other stuff is kinda gay. Like how hes super pissed at Dave Portnoy now because he...gambles? Yeah, even though Sams really into bitcoin and NFT shit and tells his fans to just go into credit card debit and not pay anything back, but Dave is a piece of shit because he gambles.
