>Game 5 of the 2024 World Series: 18 million
>Game SEVEN of the 2025 NBA Finals: 16 million viewers

Yet Baseball is ded on TV? Baseball is having trouble finding broadcast partners?

I love baseball, i was alive before the strike in the 90's.
I cannot watch it on television though. It needs to be seen in the park.

I hate how playoff baseball gets relegated to FS1 while some college football game between Southwest North Dakota and Northeastern South Dakota Tech gets to be on FOX. Fuck football.

Huh. Funny enough I'd rather watch than go out and see it in person. People just suck. All they do is play on their phones

You have no idea how much I just despise the NFL. Football as a sport itself is great but I just hate how it's all that matters. Everyone acting like Taylor Swift made it fashionable for young girls to like it...IT'S THE FUCKING NFL. THEY DON'T NEED MARKETING

current day advertisers don't want baseball, they want basketball cause basketball americans (ya know those with a certain skin color) watch it so advertisers like it more because they will spend all their money buying the dumbest crap

I love the excuse of "oh it was the Yankees and Dodgers"...well if Baseball were truly dead, neither team would have any fans to begin with

I used to go to a ton of Orioles games when I was a kid but now I can drive to the Nationals game whenever I want and never do it even though it's 20 minutes away

When I lived in atlanta my company had season tickets (some bigwig at corporate was a big braves fan), they'd usually give them away to customers, but if they had them you could go sweet talk the HR lady for the spare tickets and parking pass.
It was great to be able to park right in front of the stadium. One set of seats were right behind home plate, the other set was right behind the visitor dugout. It was awesome to be able to walk out of work and have someone go "you want to go see a game?" and basically getting the VIP treatment.
When i was a little kid I lived in Ohio back when the red's were kicking ass, and back then it was still america's pastime.

I remember the Reds World Series I think it was against the Athletics back when Mcgwire and Canseco and Rickey Henderson were 3 all stars in the starting line up

Both are great parks. I hate that Nationals games if they last too long you have to leave because of the train

broadcast is free. people have to pay for espn and fs1. that means espn and fs1 have more money to buy the broadcast rights from MLB so thats what they did.
happened to the nba 15 years ago. nfl has about 5 years left

you can't see shit at the park because you're either too far away or stuck behind the bat catching net.
