I personally went through a period of severe depression and anxiety which left be bed-ridden and afraid to leave my house, during this time my grades dropped to around 2.2 level or C level and I handed things in late which lowered my grades even more due to them being capped at 40 percent or a 3rd, but once I began to recover I started to get 2.1s and firsts. Managed to bring my grade back up to a 2.2 despite handing in half my assignments late.

A lot of college is just effort and energy, but intelligence does still correlate with success.

You really should try and research intellect a bit more. Even bringing up anyone having an IQ of 60 is laughable. 60 IQ is essentially reduced cognitive function, which isn't just "you're stupid" it is literally "parts of your brain do not even work anymore".
Realistically no one in the house has even close to 70 IQ, which is so low you essentially cannot train them to do anything (look up that one retarded youtuber with an IQ of 70, it took him years to learn to work at McDonalds and it's so mentally taxing on him he gets headaches from it, and he is doing the simplest job as well, deep frying chicken).

Most of the house is within the normal range, with Daniel and Aryeh being below average. Daniel admitted to it and Aryeh has shown time and time again he struggles to understand how to do even basic things, he is most likely deeply autistic and has hyper focused on a few things and because of that never learned to do the things most of us consider normal, like being able to tie shoelaces.

You're not right on an IQ of 60 being laughable, my mother is a carer and deals with people who have documented IQs in the 50s and I have met these people when visiting her at her work. They are capable of understanding basic things but their brain is just totally shot, they will ask the same question over and over again despite knowing the answer for instance, they also are unable to do up even Velcro shoes, but they are able to understand very basic concepts and remember things. Aryeh's non-verbal IQ, so spatial awareness and numerical skills, are so bad that those parts of his brain almost don't function. He can't even do up shoelaces for instance.
