There will always be sociopaths who crave nothing more than power. They tend to band together and gather wealth and power and influence (oligarchy). I kind of agree with you although lets say an atheistic joe rogan fan takes psychedelics for the first time and meets with a higher dimensional being supposedly passing on ancient wisdom because they have gone through ego death they are in a highly suggestible state so when they demon is talking to them they aren't going to question or critically analyse what it's saying they are just going to consume the information as if it's gospel
