>>211967795It sounds campy on paper and probably wouldn't fit into Nolan's vaguely realistic universe, but I would've liked if Bane (sans Talia) traveled to Gotham and intentionally sought out Crane, given the latter's involvement in Ra's al Ghul's original mission. During their time together, Crane would develop an advanced form of Bane's Venom, but laced with his mustard gas, betraying Bane and turning him into a visually more comic-accurate raving lunatic who goes around Gotham in a seemingly random, violent rampage.
Crane would then become the defacto leader of Gotham with remnants of the League and Blackgate's inhabitants as his muscle, offering protection and shelter from the very real monster he created and his lackeys. He would use this newfound faith granted to him by Gotham's citizens to judge the failure of the GCPD and its governing bodies in regards to the Dent Act, among other things.
Cut out the Talia shite, "The Pit" subplot, and the nuclear bomb. Bane IS the nuke, and Crane replaces Talia in the plot as the mastermind.
