Because it's really really cheap and even if the film is lazy and critically panned kids will go see it. Also most of them don't flop. Kids will watch anything
>>211979069 >fucking why?
1)People there only know how to do this now.
2)For every 5 massive flops, there is 1 gigantic hit that covers all the losses, especially with merchandising
3)The flops don't change the perceptions of the brand that much because Disney fans have the second highest levels of brand loyalty, losing only to Apple.

You don't need an ad for that. Their business model is unsustainable and extremely volatile, their ending might be closer then you thought.

I always wonder about this. People have been complaining about 2D beanmouth for even longer, and then you get stuff like pic attached. It's not a deliberate decision, nobody consciously decided to do it this way. These people literally can't draw. It's not a choice. I get the same vibe from Japanese video game localizers and dubbers. Everyone assumes the translators are acting out of malice when they misrepresent what the characters are really saying, but I suspect they simply don't speak Japanese and are just making it up as they go along.

Elio cost 150 million at first
Then they remade parts of the film ballooning the budget to 300 million
It ain't cheap at all
modern artists never self reflect. you go on twitter or any social media site and they're always angry, unfunny, and annoying. rather than see the faults in their art or in the industry they would rather cope and blame it on le nazis and incels being racist. like man people are tired of this whole schtick and they keep double downing on it

I read somewhere that literally every single one of them lose millions of dollars annually and they're kept afloat by investors essentially betting on which service will be the last one standing.
Unless they're basically a monopoly they can't actually turn a profit.
Honestly I think it was just a case of boredom on the internet. People extrapolating anything other than a bad ad from it need a reality check, it's not some medicine that speedruns the deathly side effects at the very end, a jew lawyer advertising free money for suing your local businesses, or an insurance scam so I think it sits pretty low on the repugnancy list

Even if you don't like the styles, western cartoonists are much better character designers than most (modern) Japanese ones. Anime has become even more genericized than western toons.

You still don't get it?
The people doing this specifically have effectively infinite money. They don't care about turning a profit anymore. They can blow as much money as they want on it because it's about sending a message. It's about making a new normal. The investment isn't for securing more capital anymore.

I've tried:
McChicken
Chick-fil-A
Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich
Wendy's is the best among these. I hear Popeye's has the best chicken sandwich of the big chains
