Every problem of Japan is easy to understand when you realize the country is just growing old.

They have no kids.
Thus population grows older and shrinks.
The whole country is just slowly dying.

Every problem of Japan is explained by this. Stagnant economy with no dynamism cuz old people. No creativity or art scene cuz old people. Only countey in the world still using Windows Server and Windows XP for basic infraestructure instead of Linux, cuz old people. Etc. Etc.
