What is it about specifically tipping that absolutely drives autismos up a fucking wall (to the point where they make off-topic threads about it on completely unrelated boards)? Literally nobody even remotely normal ever seems to have that much of a problem with it and the fact that it's a cultural practice. It's always uppity aspies that unironically believe they're in some kind of worthy political cause or waging a fucking crusade against some great societal evil.
It's unironically becoming a good Red Flag to know who to avoid socially. Anybody who pitches a fit and causes a scene over something so incredibly mundane, common & irrelevant is just going to be a social cancer and drag you down with them. Stay away from them.

Places already do the delivery fee shit. Every pizza place like dominoes and papa johns have one and they have the audacity to ask you to tip the drivers because they clearly state "delivery fee is not a tip". They charge you extra money and it doesn't even go to the driver despite almost none of those places have a company car. It's literally them pocketing an extra $5 and fucking over their drivers.

Still remember the time me and my buddy ordered a pizza and paid the driver in change. The pizza was like $15 delivered so we gave him $16 in assorted coins at least 4 dollars in pennies. Dude probably wanted to strangle us.

I've never in my life met anyone (who will admit to it out loud anyway) so cheap that they won't tip. I don't even know anyone who disagrees with it. Tipping clerks and fast food workers is unnecessary obviously. Delivery drivers and servers are different. I don't make the rules.
And I don't think following the rules makes anyone some sort of "bootlicker NPC" or whatever. Like you say, that shit is for social poison people.
