For me it's that she randomly decided to just stand out in the open admiring the view and letting some random approach her. So all the actual character work of the book of what growing up an orphan in a war torn kingdom is doing to her and the tension of whether she'll wind up becoming a soulless killer or be able to hold onto a sliver of what she was....out the window. She gets everything handed to her instead. Easy superpowers, kills loads of people, and it's portrayed as heroic and awesome. Literally no drawbacks.

Already was in season 4 when they stretched out the remaining two chapters after the Red Wedding and instead of feeling like there's a hole where her heart used to be she goes on a season-long adventure with the Hound who doesn't get himself horribly wounded in that inn and instead it's the infected bite by the nerfed Biter and the fight with misplaced Brienne of Tarth that does him in.

The show was ridiculous but it's not like Martin gave them a lot to work with.

I think this was later on, but for me it was the episode where they go north of the wall to capture an ice zombie to present to Cersei (as if she would care, and indeed does not), and Jon falls into a frozen lake then rides hours back to the wall without dying of hypothermia within 20 minutes
There are dozens of things wrong with that episode and the show had been declining for a while but for whatever reason that was the moment I realized "oh this show is truly dogshit now"
